House and Renner Construction, Inc.

   Safety Program

House and Renner Construction has a comprehensive safety program for all of its employees to assure that each of them is aware of the risks they and others undertake as part of the daily regimen of the profession. The safety program is not only for the employees but also for the benefit of our customers. Tradesmen who are aware of the conditions which present risk to others make better informed decisions when they have to engage in relatively dangerous activities. We are proud to have year around training, a comprehensive safety program with mandatory monthly update meetings so you can be assured that our professionals know what they're doing.

Jobsite Safety is a crucial factor on any project. All employees from field personnel to owners are integrally involved in the ongoing learning and development of our safety program. All new hires are briefed in the safety policies of the company. Through our insurance company Allied Insurance, and several other independent sources, our company maintains a regimen of continuing education and training in compliance with OSHA regulations. We have a proactive safety program, which includes commitments to safety by the entire company, including its Owners. New safety-training topics are covered on a regular basis and supplemental site training topics are provided for toolbox talks and lead by field superintendents regularly during the project.

Included in our safety training is CPR training and use of an AED. As of  December 2007, 100% of the House and Renner Staff is CPR certified.
